Founded in 2023, Global Trace began as a global security firm delivering real-world solutions for complex problems, ranging from tracing stolen cryptocurrency across borders to locating runaway teenagers and supporting high-risk investigations worldwide. Led by Principal Advisor Brian Boetig, whose career spans the FBI, CIA, and senior policing roles, this frontline work provided unparalleled access to human stories, ethical dilemmas, and operational realities that rarely reach the screen. That lived experience now forms the foundation of Global Trace’s creative vision.

In 2025, Brian began collaborating with screenwriter Gil Weissman, and together they have developed dozens of treatments for television series and feature films. What started as stories rooted primarily in FBI and CIA experience has expanded into a broader slate of related genres and subject matter, global crime, suspense thrillers, dark comedy, romantic comedy, and character-driven drama, each grounded in authenticity and emotional truth.
