Brian Boetig is the co-founder and principal advisor of Global Trace, a pioneering creative content development company, where he leverages his unique career experiences to craft authentic content that extends into genres to include complex drama, suspense, situational and romantic comedy for TV and film.
A seasoned lawman, he transcended the streets of city policing as a patrolman to the rural communities around Savannah as a state police agent unraveling murders and disrupting corruption. His journey took a turn when he stepped into the clandestine world of the FBI. Cyber attacks, foreign machinations, and government secrets—as the FBI’s top diplomat in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Canada he unraveled the mystery when a Russian nerve agent seeped into the very fabric of the United Kingdom, stood amidst the chaos of terror attacks at the Ariana Grande concert, at Parliament, and on the iconic London Bridge, and helped bring down the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s top brass who was peddling secrets to underworld kingpins through covert networks.
After being a first responder to the 9/11 attack at the Pentagon, he ascended the FBI ranks, leading the elite Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate as an FBI Assistant Director where stolen nukes, biological threats, and chemical attacks were on the daily agenda. Coupled with being the FBI Academy’s interrogation expert, serving an assignment to the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, and leading offices in Oklahoma and New York, he has set the gold standard for a blockbuster career script.
After three decades of carrying the badge, he crisscrossed the globe as a consultant, helping clients solve their most complex problems in the real world and cyberspace caused by adversaries, competitors, and, sometimes, their own negligence or lack of integrity.
