Katy Parsi Boetig has over 20 years of experience in non-profit management, education, school counseling and educational services related to Individualized Education Plans. Since 2015, she has been engaged in direct and indirect services provided through the U.S. State Department's Office of Overseas Schools and services afforded through the Special Needs Education Allowances. She is a Co-Founder and the Chief Operating Officer of Global Trace LLC. Her services are offered only by referral through 2026.

Non-Profit Administrator
The Tahirih Justice Center (TJC) is a national, 501(c)3 nonprofit that has served over 30,000 immigrant survivors fleeing gender-based violence since 1997. The Center's interdisciplinary, trauma-informed model of service is now delivered from five locations, and committed to serving as many immigrant survivors as possible. During Katy's tenure, TJC was a start-up located solely in Falls Church, Virginia.

This master's concentration prepares students for school counseling positions in public or private elementary, middle, and secondary schools. Graduates qualify for Virginia Department of Education licensure in school counseling PK–12.
